Izhar Ahmed Mujaddidi

Izhar Ahmed Mujaddidi joined Coronis Health in November 2024 and serves as the Chief Information Security Officer, bringing over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity leadership across federal and commercial sectors. Prior to joining Coronis Health, Mr. Mujaddidi was the Senior Director of Cybersecurity and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Carelon Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of Elevance Health, where he spent 13 years overseeing security governance, business continuity, compliance, security awareness, and safeguard implementation.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and has earned more than a dozen industry-leading certifications spanning cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, architecture, and healthcare IT. These include CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISA, CISM, CTPRP, CDPSE, CCSFP, CCSA, and Certified Executive CISO, among others. Mr. Mujaddidi’s expertise includes leading internal audits, cybersecurity program development, penetration testing, risk assessments, and security policy formulation. He has conducted independent product evaluations and certifications to build resilient frameworks across highly regulated environments.

He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College and the Software Engineering Institute’s Executive CISO Program, a Graduate of National Defense University’s Information Assurance Program, and a fellow of the American Association of Health Plans’ Minority Management Development Program. A U.S. Army Service-Disabled Veteran, he remains deeply committed to public service and advancing healthcare security standards.
